The PACS Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing pacs strategy. Utilizes senior level experience and understanding of the OhioHealth pacs environment to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions. Provides expert consultation services to customers and other IS resources on pacs technologies and solutions.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Four year degree in radiological sciences or healthcare related field and/or information technology; or equivalent experience. Radiology technology, DICOM, project management, workflow design, imaging systems, and computer system fundamentals. One year FujiFilm Medical synapse PACS experience. Three years or more of experience in a PACS support role. This person is organized, detail oriented, and possesses highly effective verbal and written communication skills. Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
