XD Nuclear Medicine- A Cutting Edge Molecular Imaging Suite from Mirada Medical - Cioreview (press release) FREMONT, CA: Mirada Medical, a medical imaging software enterprise, has unveiled XD Nuclear Medicine at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago. XD Nuclear Medicine[1] is a cutting edge, vendor-neutral molecular imaging suite for PET/CT, PET/MR, Nuclear Medicine (NM) and collaboration.

The new software package incorporates advanced reading applications and enterprise IT solutions into a common platform, which ensures functionality and efficiency. Vendor neutral workflows and display protocols can be streamlined for an easy and effortless depiction of images, while quantitative results for diagnosis and assessment can be saved for editing and reviews. The software also permits clients to customize their workflows and protocols, according to their preferences. Moreover, XD Nuclear Medicine facilitates NM workflow data to be accessed from any location in a single click.

XD Nuclear Medicine will be a strategic constituent of Mirada Medical’s XDTM portfolio. The deployment options for the software include Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) integration, standalone workstations, floating licenses and thin client solutions.

"Our customers and PACS partners have asked us to provide a NM reading solution that combines Mirada's advanced imaging capabilities with simple and seamless workflow, PACS and Enterprise integration. I am delighted that we have responded to their demand with this exciting new addition to the XD product range," says Hugh Bettesworth, CEO at Mirada Medical, Oxford.
